Our Ingredients

Beeswax

Beeswax candles produce negative ions when burned, and those ions help to neutralize pollutants in the air. This helps eliminate dust, odors, and mold in the atmosphere, easing allergy and asthma symptoms and improving breathing for anyone nearby.

Beeswax Facts:

• It emits the brightest, most warm-toned flame.
• Beeswax candles also last longer than most other candles.
• Clean burning & hypoallergenic
• Non-GMO. Harvesting beeswax is actually good for the health of Bee colonies.
• Renewable resource and a by-product of honey production.
• Unlike soy or paraffin wax, beeswax is non-polluting.

Organic Coconut Oil

Considerable reasons for using coconut oil is that coconuts are highly sustainable and renewable. 
Extracted from the actual fruit "nut" of coconut palm trees, coconut oil is the colorless, fatty byproduct of the nut when melted at or above 76º F. When the temperature is at or below 75º, coconut oil is solid and white with a waxy creamy texture. It does not smoke until it reaches 3500º F.
Beeswax by itself is quite hard. But, when blended with Organic Coconut Oil, the candles provide an equal smooth burn without "tunneling". It also helps with a cleaner and more sustained & long lasting scent throw.

We believe that candles should contribute to a healthy and healing home environment, not take away from it - that's why we use ethically sourced natural essential oils to scent our candles. 

Not only do they smell good, natural essential oils provide a plethora of therapeutic benefits and they have been used for centuries.

One of the main problems with traditional scented candles is the scent itself. Many traditional candles are scented with cheap, synthetic fragrances that may potentially emit hazardous chemicals. They can cause damage to the brain, lung and central nervous system, as well as cause developmental difficulties. When combined with paraffin (even soy wax to some extent) they are even more harmful and do more damage than good. 

Responsibly Sourced Mica

Mica is a natural mineral. Ayurveda, the Hindu system of ancient medicine prevalent in India, includes the purification and processing of mica in preparing Abhraka bhasma, which is claimed as a treatment for diseases of the respiratory and digestive tracts. Mica has also been used for decoration and creative projects in multiple cultures. 
Unfortunately, most mica extraction uses unethical labor practices such as child labor. We made sure to source our mica responsibly from India without the use of unethical practices.

The mica makes our candles unique in the way it glitters. It's honestly color therapy in a jar and so magical!

Beeswax Coated Organic Hemp Wick

Hemp wick are really awesome. They don't create soot and also provide a hotter burn. The even layer of beeswax ensures that the flame will burn uniformly and melt your candle wax in smooth, even layers. Our hemp wicks are organic, non-GMO, free of toxins, PVC and chemicals.
